About PIGLOG
From the playpen to the floor beneath it.
PIGLOG is a baby and toddler brand founded in 2020. We have sold more than 5 million baby play mats and served more than 4 million families. Our play mats, floor tiles, baby walker and four-wheel balance bike (model PSF0096) are tested by independent, CPSC-accepted laboratories against US children's product safety rules. This website is the official PIGLOG store.
It started with a playpen.
Watching how parents used our playpens taught us something simple: the fence keeps a baby in, but the floor is where the day actually happens. Tummy time, the first roll, the first wobbly crawl, the first time pulling up to stand all happen down there.
Playpens
In 2020 we started making baby playpens for families in China, selling on Taobao and Tmall.
Amazon vendor
When Amazon invited PIGLOG to become a vendor, we started supplying American families too.
EVA mats
We turned to the floor beneath the playpen. Our first play mats used standard EVA foam.
XPE mats
We refined mat by mat and introduced foldable mats made with XPE foam. Check the material of the exact product.
From EVA to XPE: getting the floor right.
Our first mats used standard EVA foam, the same material most puzzle mats were made of at the time. Parents kept asking for mats that were bigger, quicker to clean and easier to put away. Several of our foldable mats use XPE foam and fold flat between play sessions. Check the material of the exact product.
Today they come in sizes from 50 x 50 in, made to fit a standard playpen, up to 79 x 71 in, big enough for a parent to lie down beside their baby. Reversibility is confirmed for the 50 x 50 in Rainbow Rain and Giraffe mats and the 79 x 71 in Rainbow & Stars, Safari Friends, Jungle Friends, Bear Print, Circles and Giraffe & Elephant mats. Tested for little ones.
In the US, products made for children 12 and under must be tested by a CPSC-accepted third-party laboratory and certified with a Children's Product Certificate (CPC). Every one of our 5 million mats is somebody's living room floor, so here is exactly what our products were tested for, and by whom.
Foldable play mats
CPC certificates 86260528069 and 86260526177. Passed 16 CFR 1243, the federal standard for infant support cushions, plus every item above.
Interlocking mats & floor tiles
CPC certificate 86260518215, covering our 6-tile and 16-piece interlocking play mats and 36-piece floor tiles. Heavy elements tested include lead, cadmium, chromium and mercury.
Baby walker
Model 702B passed the federal infant walker standard, including tip resistance, structural integrity, leg openings, the parking brake and protection against falls down steps.
Four-wheel balance bike
Model PSF0096 passed ASTM F963-23 toy safety, heavy elements, restricted phthalates, sharp points, sharp edges, small parts and flammability.
Safe use matters as much as safe materials. PIGLOG play mats are for supervised, awake floor play; never use a play mat as a place for a baby to sleep. Always keep your child in view in a baby walker, and use it only on flat floors away from stairs. Want the test report or certificate for a specific product? Are PIGLOG products safety tested?
Yes. PIGLOG foldable play mats, interlocking play mats and floor tiles, baby walker and four-wheel balance bike (model PSF0096) were tested by CPSC-accepted third-party laboratories. Our play mats have Children's Product Certificates covering 16 CFR 1243, lead, phthalates, sharp points and edges, small parts and flammability. Our baby walker passed the federal infant walker standard, 16 CFR 1216. Reports are available on request.
What are PIGLOG foldable play mats made of?
XPE foam is verified for the Giraffe 50 x 50 in mat and the Safari Friends, Jungle Friends, Bear Print, Circles and Giraffe & Elephant 79 x 71 in mats. Check the exact product page for other mats; do not assume that every foldable mat uses the same material.
Can my baby sleep on a PIGLOG mat?
No. Our play mats are for supervised, awake play only.
